Alistair Warwick playing continuo with The University Players (University of Surrey)

Continuo

Whilst a student at the University of Surrey, he directed small-scale orchestral pieces from the harpsichord, as well as accompanying soloists.

Repertoire

Public performances include compositions by J S Bach (Double Violin Concerto, Orchestral Suite no 3 and the St John Passion), William Boyce, G F Händel (Messiah, Concerto Grosso Op 6 No 12), Claudio Monteverdi, Heinrich Schütz and Georg Philipp Telemann (Trumpet Concerto in D).

Alistair studied figured bass and repertoire with Philip Sawyer in Edinburgh.
